New and Improved Gilded Peach

All kinds of new happenings at The Gilded Peach! Following our little setback in September,  I have been working very hard to get the shop back into a presentable state, and get the web presence back to what it once was. While I have made lots of new jewelry for the new space, I also recently branched out into making art magnets from my oh-so-popular bottle cap necklace designs, and I am selling them solo or as sets of 4. Many more designs are coming- they are fairly labor-intensive on the design side, so please bear with me! Also, in my physical space, i have taken in a couple new artists; Alicia E. Renner, an incredibly gifted photographer and visual artist, and a local artisan going by the name of Tann Mann, who creates earthy, simple designs from natural jaspers and corals. They have helped to make my gallery even more full and beautiful!

    Also, in other news, my new website is only a week or so away from launching, which will take me off of Etsy and into a whole new level of e-commerce. You can check out the site-in-progress here, but please note that the site is not active yet.

   Upcoming events- I will be doing another show at Louie's Backyard later this month, with the date to be announced! (I believe its the 21rst but not 100% sure). I will post on that as soon as I know, probably early this week. ALSO, I will be at Sassanova in Harbor East for the Harbor East Holiday Shopping Days event on Thursday, December 10th from 5-9, so come shop at those fabulous shops and enjoy deals and refreshments! Then, if you're still not satiated, the next night is Moonlight Madness in Federal Hill, and I will have my jewels at Le Petit Cochon, 1030 S. Charles St (and yes, they are still open- I know there has been a lot of confusion!) December 11th, 8-midnight!

Unfortunately, while in Baltimore to do my trunk show at Sassanova, I was robbed and lost all of my inventory. I will be working very hard over the next few weeks to build it back up; please bear with me. Thank you!

Fun New Stuff on Etsy!!

Hey all! Just an update about all the cool new stuff on Etsy! I have been trying to upload almost every day, so keep checking back. Also, I am debuting my new line of dessert-themed colortile pendants, starting with these cupcakes! And, for the month of August, Shipping on the new cupcakes is FREE!!!! So stop by the Etsy site and check them out. Also, in September, we have two events- the Federal Hill Shop Crawl on Thursday, September 10th- where you can purchase Gilded Peach jewelry at Le Petite Cochon (1030 S. Louie's Backyard Saturday June 27th!

Martinis, Makeup and Gilded Peach Jewels!

Come join us Saturday fro 4-5:30 at Louie's Backyard's Upstairs Deck Bar for a fun event involving yummy martinis, Eco-friendly Arbonne Spa products on display, and fabulous designs from The Gilded Peach and Peachy Keen! I will be bringing all kinds of new goodies, so please stop by for some socializing, $5 Island Cosmopolitans, and as always, the fabulous view of the Atlantic! For anyone who doesn't know, Louie's Backyard is located at 700 Waddell Avenue, and is a fabulous place for cocktails and conversation in a beautiful Key West setting. C O L O R T I L E Pendants NOW on Etsy! Plus PRIDEFEST street fair this weekend!

Hell all! I have just updated  the Etsy site with about a dozen of my new C O L O R T I L E pendants, which I have been making for few months now but took me forever to have enough to get up on the website, because they sell so quickly! So please check them out. There will be more soon, but right now I am busy making lots of Key West-themed Pride jewelry for Pridefest 2009, which is going on right now in Key West. I will have a booth at the street fair on Friday and Saturday, so if you're in Key West please stop by and bring me a drink! Cause its gonna be HOT!!

May's Full Moon HOWL and MOTHER'S DAY!!

 
This Saturday is the Full Moon HOWL gallery and café stroll
on upper Duval! Shops, bars, restaurants and
entertainment venues will be open 6 to 9 p.m. with
food and drink specials, music, hospitality, arts and entertainment,
and perhaps some special deals!
 
The upper Duval neighborhood of small unique shops, cozy bars and
lavish restaurants opens their doors for the full moon! Grab a drink and a mother's day gift!

This month, in lieu of a locals discount, The Gilded Peach will
be donating 15% of our sales during the HOWL
to the Florida Keys Council of the Arts.
 I hope to sell enough to become a corporate sponsor! And
as always there will be bubbles and yummy treats!


Also this month, The SoDu Gallery at 1100 Duval
celebrates two major events:
 the popular Second Annual Woman’s Hand Juried show
of women’s art, AND the gallery’s
 move two doors down the street to 1102 Duval, right next to
The Gilded Peach! 
Join the SoDu artists in their new space for the champagne
 and chocolate reception for some of the most creative
women artists in the keys.

New Stuff on Etsy!

I have been updating the Etsy site after a looooong hiatus, so check it out soon! I got thirteen pieces up yesterday, and I am diligently working on the photos to get more up today. Also, soon the peachyKEEN line will be up on Etsy, as well, hopefully by the end of the week, so keep checking back! Happy day-after-taxes day!
